With a name fit for a hip-hop star, it's not surprising that Amirah G. greeted us at her penthouse studio with a glass of Moet and OutKast on the stereo, "You've got amazing eyes," she said, "but some darkness underneath." G. blended a concealer under our lash line and across the upper lid, "where blood vessels tend to peek through." Honoring our request for a low-maintenance morning routine, she dabbed a rose blush onto our cheeks, swept the excess across our eyelids, and added just a touch of nutmeg eye shadow into the crease for depth. A few coats of black mascara, a soft pink lipstick, and the result was less edgy rap, more refined adult contemporary. $105.
